New guy, first time post. First wanted to say NASlite is really a nice program. I am using it to stream my dvds from 4 500 gb ata drives, two sata drives 1 500 gb and 1 300 gb. I am using a Rapsody N35 for my player. gb network cat 6. I ripped my dvds IFO file. Nice to choose from over 200 dvds with the remote.
I really wish there was a way to shut down the server. I start up a 5 pm and want to shut down a 10 pm. For now I am using my pc to run shut down, but this is kind of dumb to start up one pc to shut down another
Anyway NASlite is a fine program, have no problems at all.

What's wrong with just hitting the power button? An atx board with acpi will shut down fine.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I am using a atx board not sure about a acpi? I know what it is, but don't know how it would shut down the computer. The deal is this: make it easy on the wife.... The system starts up at 5 pm she hits one button on the remote choose movie watch. System shuts down without anyone doing a thing. I had been using another program that would allow scheduled shutdown. I don't want the system to run 24/7

Thanks again
