I tested the NIC card into another PC and obtain a lan speed of 1000 mb/s, but with NASLite 2.06 USB I can obtain only 100 mb/s.

The chipset is listed in the recognized hardware list.

The NIC adapter is recognized by Naslite 2.0 in Network Status page

Device Details form Network Status Page:

* e1000: eth0: e1000_probe: Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Connection
* e1000: eth0: e1000_watchdog: NIC Link is Up 100 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: RX/TX
* eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:1B:21:16:9E:38
* inet addr:192.168.0.32 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
* UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
* RX packets:84 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
* TX packets:131 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
* collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
* RX bytes:18830 (18.3 KiB) TX bytes:87789 (85.7 KiB)
* Base address:0xdcc0 Memory:df9c0000-df9e0000

Any suggestion to correct this?

Best regards

Michel

Likely the problem lies with the cable and or switch you have used for the test. Make sure that the cable has all four pairs wired correctly and that they test good. If one of the blue or the brown pair are not there or correct it will drop down to 100TX.

Replace the cable and the solution worked.

Thank you

Just FYI for those that don't know. 100TX uses only the orange and green pair for a connection. Some cheap patch cables only have those pairs in them. 1000TX uses all four pairs and at a higher bit rate so good quality connectors, cables and patches become critical for reliable communications.
