Hello Tony/Ralph:
I fired-up the NASLite v2.06 at about 07:30. An hour later I could not access some files I was searching for. I walked over to the NAS and found that it was in the OFF state. I rebooted. It is now going through filecheck on two larrge disks. I have no idea what happened. The system is on a UPS and we've had no power failures.
I'd like to be able to review any errors that may have been logged before the NAS crashed, or was otherwise normally shutdown the last 1 or 2 (or more) times.
Feature Request: Keep a running syslog in a special folder on (for example) Disk-0. Allow User to specify file size limit (in megabytes) or number of reboots that the rolling log is kept. Errors should, of course, be logged as they occur in real-time.(In the case of the USB version, the log could be kept on the USB stick (proces being what they are for larger capacity sticks these days ...) (For HDD version ... the choice of location is also obvious.)
Thanks for considering this.

Georg
