In this posting on September 17, 2008 User “alxr101” suggested I may have a “flakey hard drive”
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2641

Yesterday, my system booted up fine. Today it will NOT BOOT and the BIOS will NOT DETECT the OS hard drive.

I have already ordered a new WD hard drive from NEWEGG. The only thing I had on the second partition of this drive was my MUSIC collections.

I plan to install the new hard drive and just re-install everything.

I do have one question, Will I be unable to use the SAME “UNLOCK CODE” or will I need to request a new CODE?

You may or may not but since there is no big deal or Microsoft style bull shit to go through you can simply go and get a new unlock from the website and put it in. Really easy, not a problem at all. Adds maybe 1 minute to the whole build.
