Hello,
I use NASLite (USB version) for backup reason and also for file sharing.
Since installation I have a problem with MS Money. The Money database file is installed on NASLite and the 'client' on NASLite clients. When I start Money on NASLIte client side, it doesn't find the database file, I have to open the directory where it's located on the NASLite server by clicking on network share on the windows explorer at client side, then MS Money find the database file.
Does somebody have an idea ??
Thanks in advance, regards,
Damien

Set up windows to mount the drive at start-up. Your problem sounds like it fixes it's self as soon as you access the drive, IE: Mount it.

I use foobar2000 and it does this as well - if I don't access the drive in any way then it will fail to find the files on the drive - but if I access the drive via Explorer then foobar2000 will find and play the audio files.

Yes I have this issue as well but its not NASLite related as it happens with my win2k3 server as well. I need to access open the share in explorer before I can use it. See the following thread for a "solution":

Nice to see I'm not alone with this problem, NickC, mikeiver1 and superboss !!
The solution with VBscript seem's to be to only solution to solve the problem.
Thanks again,
Damien
