Hi,

Maybe a silly question but I couldn't find the answer. I need to set the Mirror to start at a certain time and not on the hour (something like 19:15). Is this possible?

And no, I can't set it to 20 as I turn off the NL box for the night (save the planet, use less energy :) )

If not, what about a button "Mirror now" which will start mirroring as parametered in the disk setup?

Best regards

Currently mirrors can be set to execute on the hour, so the answer to your first question is no. However, the second does make sense and has been brought up before. I need to take a look at notes we have from last time we looked at that.

You can run a mirror while still using the NAS if that's necessary...

Tnx for the answer. Running the mirror while applications are working is what I'm doing now but sometimes this produces mirror errors (files beeing DELed between the file scan at the beginning of the mirror and when they should be copied) and the NL box keeps beeping all the time (till power off)

Regards.

Tony:

If you implement a "Mirror NOW" function ... it would be great if it could be executed remotely by script ... kind of like "poweroff" and "reboot".

**OR** ... if it requires log-in to a menu system, it could still be scripted, **AND** provide additional functionality, like -- for example -- an option to automatically power-off after the (multiple) mirror(s) is/are completed 8) !
