changing from a old dell p3 to a new build system, does the hard drives have to go in the new system in the same order or can they change. All the hard drives are ide so i was going to start adding sata drives next. Harddrives are segate 300gb,400gb, and a 500gb. Thanks for any help.

NASLite will number the drives as it finds them - no problems in my experience with order changing. Bear in mind, if NASLite finds the SATA interface before the IDE interface it will number starting with the SATA drives, so your numbering will change every time you add a drive (possibly.....).
