NASLite Network Attached Storage

I'm running NasLite USB 2.06 on a P4 2.Ghz with 14 320GB Drives connected to three LSI Login MegaRaid Controllers.

Yesterday the Nas was rebooted and started the filesystems check.

After the checks have been completed, it took several hours - do we have any way to have it faster -, I needed to backup some new files.

My backup System is based on a Tivoli Storage Manager 5.4.0 backing up on some Disk Storage Pools and then on a DLT8000 Autoloader.

How TSM works? TSM generally backup everything in Incremental mode, means, if a file is changed (size, date, CRC) the file is backed up again and became a version to be managed by the TSM.

After the FSs checks the TSM agent started backupping all the files again, from scratch, like the NAS has completely new content.

Obviously now TSM is backing up 3TB of the same contents of before, considering it all new version. Why this is happening?

Can I avoid this behavior in order to avoid the full backup of the NAS after a File-System Check?

Neither from Server Elements folks?

Another reboot today (no disk check was performed), new backup and all the files are backed up again, no incremental is performed, looks like all the files are new.

Any guess?
