Guys

I realise this seems like taking 10 paces back, but I want to virtualise a NAS for my work cos I'm a wimp at understanding the system :)

I realise this will effect performance, we will only be using it in the IT Dept for data dumping

What I want to do is have 2 servers, one at each site (2 sites BLOCKED_WORD via 2MB leased line)

each server will be a simple fujitsu siemens tower running win2000lite and 3 dedicated physical drives about 500GB each.

ISO CD & Floppy
Physical C: - vmware etc
Physical D: - Virtual Drive 0
Physical E: - Virtual Drive 1 (Mirrored from 0)
Physical F: - Virtual Drive 2 (Mirrored from 1)

I plan to have the 2 servers mirroring too, so something like 2 main directories that can be sync'd across.

How do I get the servers syncing as such? I'm happy to have 6 drives in each (3 dedicated 'local' drives and 3 dedicated rsync drives)

Am I missing anything else, or any tips or is there an easier solution to what I'm trying to do? Basically if location A goes tits up, location B will automatically have the data

Daz
