Love these Terminators but they only support 2ea SATA disks natively. Can anyone offer an opinon cocerning the best way to add 2ea more SATA disks without compromising server element compatibilty or power consumption?

I use those aluminum Lian-Li Ex-23 HDD racks, so 4ea 3.5in drives fit perfectly inside the Terminator. Have six servers configured in this fashion with no overheating even with the rack fan disconnected. Chassis fan cools all.

Am new to SATA, so informed opinions would be appreciated.

Went with the Promise SATA 300 TX4 per this thread after my "bargain" silicon image card failed to be recognized:

Worked perfectly immediately without any futzing.

Still hoping someone can recommend a more cost effective solution as this card's cost is higher than the cost of the whole server:( Would also like to know of a card offering 4 internal SATA + a first rate ESATA port for future expansion.

Prototype was a success .... but with an extreme cost overrun.
