We had a power failure a couple of days ago and after restarting my nas box, I noticed one of the drives wasn't mounted. I ran the filesystem check, rebooted, and remounted the drive. When viewing the nas box from my winXP machine, I see all 3 of my drives, but when I open one of them all I see is the lost+found. I can no longer see the data that was previously there. When I telnet in to the nas box and check the disk configuration page for that drive, it lists the drive as 92% used (which is what it should be). Any idea how to correct this problem and regain access to the files?

You'll have to examine the contents of lost+found. For that you'll have boot a live CD like Knoppix or Ubuntu since the existing NASLite-2 config only allows for deletion of the folder. I think that in next release we'll make the necessary changes to allow access to the lost+found content.

I'd like to see this as a new feature - currently my NAS is running headless in my garage and would require being shutdown/unplugged/moved into the house/carried up the stairs/then unplugging my main PC and plugging in the NAS box. And then the reverse to plug it all back in.

:)
