I have a dell 2550 that I'm using that has had this in the system log CDD version.

Sep 16 20:16:35 user.warn kernel: spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7

Systems seems stable just wondering where a serial command might be coming from.. I think I have them (serial ports) all turned off.. maybe a irq conflict.. have to look next reboot...

I think it's associated with crappy hardware, but it appears to not be a problem. I just learned something. Google this "spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7" and you'll have your answer.
