NASlite is good news/bad news. It's run so well I've forgotten all the commands and stuff. I upgraded and switched to the USB version. I finally got all the burning, expanding, USB flash writing and unlocking done (why does this have to be so labrynthan? and am trying to add back my drives to the server (they've worked fine for 8 months) and am pulling my hair out. When the setup gets to the hard drives it says "BUSY" forever. I've stripped out all my hard drives but one and still it hangs up on "busy." I don't recollect it being this twitchy with the floppy disk version. Would someone give me atip on setting up the HD jumpers and bios settings? I have 1st controiller 2 IDE 500gb drives; 2nd controller cd-rom and 250 gb drive and 3rd controller 500 SATA. When they're all connected to the computer the bios recognizes all the drives fine.

Thanks, Rich

how long is forever - i had the same problem and was simply being impatient - a 250 gig drive can take a while - a few minutes certainly - so a 500gig i would assume would take twice as long

maybe patience is the answer - if not then sure people with more knowledge than me will jump in
