Hi,

Is there a "shutdown script" to turn off NL2 from Ubuntu (7.04)?

Similar question: when I'm viewing the NL status in Firefox (under Ubuntu), if I click on the button that is suppoded to run Telnet and acces the NL2 box via Telnet, Firefox doesn't know what to do. (Works OK under XP).

I can "console" and "telnet 192.168.x.x." and acces NL2 but not automatically from Firefox.

TIA and regards

Here http://www.serverelements.com/phpBB2/vi ... php?t=2066 is the answer. A simple shell script should be able to do that for you.

Firefox on the other hand will need a helper app for the console. Obviously not defined out of the box.

Thanks for the link :)

As I'm not a linux man  can you tell me how I can pass the login and psw to telnet in linux? I'll call telnet with the IP address of the NL box. Then I have to send the login, wait, then send in the password.

TIA
