Just purchased the ISO image of NL2 USB and have created disk.

On startup the screen displays the following:

Uncompressing NASLite Kernel.
OK, booting the kernel.
Uncompressing NASLite Kernel.

Out of memory
--System halted.

I already have NL1.5 so I put this into the pc and everything is OK so I dont think it is the pc.

Does the problem lie with the disk or is there something else?

Your help is most appreciated.

I'd try

1/ Checking that the ISO image was burned without errors
2/ Recreating the USB key
3/ Changing the places (slots) of the memory chips
4/ Posting here more information about your PC

Regards.

I'd say the ISO or the CD or the usb drive is not right. I suggest you verify the ISO, burn another CD, and reprogram the usb drive.

If you are running v2.05 or earlier, the 1024M may be a problem. Try 512M or so. If you are running 2.06, then the install may be bad as outlined in dimension's and robrub's posts.
