I was moving some files from one PC to another with the Linksys router and noticed it was slow so I ran DU Meter and Max speed of transfer was 156kb. I then hooked up my old Dlink and did the same test and was getting7mg. Why the difference in data transfer speed? I would of thought this new router would be better overall.

I tried the same file from laptop to My PC and no issues. Must be some nic setting by naslite that the Linksys router doesn't like?

I believe it is a 3com. Like I mentioned no issue with the Dlink router.

I have a SMC gigabit and a Dlink gigabit switch that I use. Both unmanaged.

I had been using gigabit intel cards with naslite but when I started using the dlink switch no matter how I configured the box with the intel card it always had errors, unsure now if tx or rx, My 3com and broadcom seem fine with the dlink... So maybe there is something between the linksys and 3com cards.

Check your naslite network status page for errors, at the bottom of the page.

Must be a similiar issue. I had a D-link nic laying around and dropped it in my Naslite box and everything is Ok with the Linksys router now. Strange but it works.
