Aug 2 19:43:52 user.notice kernel: You can enable it with acpi=force

What does this mean: ACPI=FORCE?
How to use?

I would like to shut down the system by SysRC.hta but i think the missing ACPI disables the power down...

Regards
Thomas

Hi,

NL can't use ACPI fonctions as your BIOS is too old. I have the same problem. The result is that you have to manually turn OFF the computer once you have shut down NL.

You can add ACPI=Force in one of the config files (do a forum search with acpi=force ) but it changed nothing for me.

Regards
