I’m sorry to post this here but I bought naslite2 usb almost 24 hours ago, sent 2 emails yesterday without reply and still didn’t receive my download link. How long does it usually take?

I used Paypal too, sent 2 messages yesterday from the support and contacts page with my receipt details and got no reply, maybe they are on vacation.

from the speed it came back to me it was automatic - have you checked your spam filters to see if a mail got blocked

I am having the exact same problem and I have checked my spam filters and still cannot find the email. I am also over 24 hours. What ended up resolving your problem? But I did buy the CDD version.

99.99% of the time issues with getting download emails on on the buyers side. Go to http://www.serverelements.com/upgrades.php and enter your email address in the lost download link section and the system will resend your download link to the email address you used to purchase. If you do not receive the mail, then you'll need to fix your spam filter etc.

Thank you both for your assistance.

I got this email no problems. It did not get caught by my spam filters. But I won't say that something on my ISP side didn't happen.

Could I suggest that on the page you receive after your purchase that you add something about if you do not receive your download instructions please go to the recover link section of the site. Or even have a FAQ section that includes this info. I looked for that first and then I did a search and discovered this thread in the forum.

Completely agree, it was a little frustrating waiting 4 days for the download link.

Of course no one ever reads the text prior to purchase regarding insuring delivery of the download email, I doubt they will read any blurb about retrieving a downlink link.

The customer specifically told you he had been looking for that information on various places before finding this thread. Even if he is just an isolated case and most customers dont read the info, wouldnt even one single customer finding the information useful justify the five minutes it takes to add this? I love the work you've done with this software but sometimes I get the impression you trust your own gut feeling more than feedback from actual customers.

LOADS of people have been having problems with the download links and I personally did not receive one to my hotmail account although your SMTP logs say it was sent ok. I was PM'ed the link through Tony but it was dissapointing to not be able to use the product instantly. If hotmail is blocking your emails for some reason that is a problem for _your_ company, agreed? Rather than asking people to switch to gmail or a pop3 service wouldnt it make more sense to do everything you can to provide the customers with information on how to resolve these issues? I've asked you at least four times to add a sticky with info on how to deal with issues with missing download links but not even once did you reply, that is unfortunate. The forum now has a whole bunch of these threads as a direct result :/

Personally my issue was resolved in a matter of hours and my NASLite box has been running great ever since. I'm just trying to help you improve your customer service :)

It does, but that is beside the point :) I switched to gmail shortly after the naslite incident :)
