had a quick search but cannot find anything - apologies if this has been covered elsewhere

am setting up naslite as a home server - i previously had everything on a winXP PC

so have to copy everything from that to the Naslite server

server is an old P3 with 2 x 320 gig drives - guess the bottle neck will be the ide interface/controller on the Naslite server - think it is probarbly mode 2 - 33Mb/sec

to transfer 250gig of files from the XP box to the Nlite box has taken about 18hours - is that correct or am i doing something stupid

no big deal if it is that long as it is only to do once - but wonder if its correct
