NASLite Network Attached Storage

Hi, new forum member, at wits end.... Recently bought bits and bobs to make a SFF NAS (M10000, Adaptec 2610SA controller (HP version), 3 x 250gb Maxtor drives) and just cant get it to finish installing! One of two things happen - either the format fails from the storage menu (no error, just hangs and nothing responds, including no activity from the hdds) or it formats and after reboot hangs on NASLite (2.05) startup at the Checking storage filesystem stage with the Busy label (Again unresponsive).

Tried different methods, disabling write caching on the raid card but to no avail.

Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Were you able to create the array ok using the adaptec setup? What type pf array did you build?

Yup the array builds and verifys fine, its raid 5 config with 3 250 hdds.

Can you post the PCI ID as reported by the card?
