I have a rather strange problem someone might throw some light on.

I upgraded from 2.03 and have now encountered a problem with my Ghost 10 backups. The setup is unchanged and had previously worked for three months....

trying to save a recovery set to my NasLite-2 files, the app runs for about 50% of the save and then announces, (in French):-

Error EBAB03F1: Le nom réseau spécifié n'est plus disponible.
----Unable to set file size.
-----Error EBAB03F1: Le nom réseau spécifié n'est plus disponible.
-----Unable to write to file.
------Error EBAB03F1: Le nom réseau spécifié n'est plus disponible.
------Unable to set file size.
-------Error EBAB03F1: Le nom réseau spécifié n'est plus disponible.

"network name no longer available"

I have cleaned up the disk, throttled the download speed and divided the file size into small chunks, all to no avail. Now dilemma is; Dell machine on router worked fine; same settings , no changes. PC on network-switch off router can not complete 'save'. All of this has worked on schedule until the upgrade. As i say it all runs smoothly for about 10Gb of download and then 'can not find the file'. Is this some XP intervention??? Has anyone any comparable experience??

Thanks jeffjohn

Problem remains; can't get to the bottom of it. I've extended the lease time on the router which had reverted to rather short default setting but to no effect. I get about 60% through a Ghost save and then 'server can not be found', after a half-hour or so. Any thoughts or experiences anyone. Ghost restauration to Drive D works fine. I shall have to resort to backing up from 'D' to Nl but I'd rather understand and resolve the problem! jeffjohn

might well be a coincidence but had no trouble with previous installation 2.03..............

A very late resolution to the Ghost 'failures'; MB finally gave up totally. reinstalled on 'new' Pc and guess what? No problem with large file Ghost transfers at all. Concluded problem was with old board, possibly faulty, or insuffient, RAM. Current Mb has 512Mb installed.
