NASLite Network Attached Storage

I am trying out FreeNAS at the moment it is a little slow but works. Can not complain for the price. One thing I do not like is the lack of metadata for my WMA and MP3 files, I want to be able to select Country, Pop, etc. I get that when I use my Windows media player 11 or the default dsm-320 program. What does the data look like using NASlite 2.0 ? Is there a beta version or something like that I can download and tryout NASLITE 2.0 features?

I equate freenas to this, the free car you buddy gives you that will only go 40mph, can't complain about the price, but when are you gonna get tired of the commute to work of an hour, that before only took you 20 minutes.

freenas's performance is just that, of a car that will only go 40, just google around and see for youself.

I wasn't answering your question, I was commenting on your remark about freenas.

I will kick the tires for awhile, I need a good reason to switch, I am using this at home not in an office enviroment. I may have to try and set up ubuntu server if I can not get what I want.
