Greetings. I am plodding through WOL. In doing so I temporarily changed from my Netgear Gigabit NIC to the onboard ASUS NIC. However I am now stuck because without the Internet connection I can't generate another Unlock Code for the onboard NIC. Catch-22? How do you change a NIC and get the required Unlock Code? (v2.04)
Thanks.
Jim

Grumpa:

Since v2.04 the boot-up process defaults to the LAST ethx found. To use the on-board ASUS NIC you need to physically remove the PCI (which your SysLog probably shows as eth1) thus allwoing use of eth0 (the on-board one).
