I have the NASLite-2 USB based server up and running on my network. The USB stick boots the system nicely and shares a 250GB Seagate Barricuda hard drive.

What I have noticed however is the connection speed of my NIC in this server is 10Mb - 1/2 duplex.

Can I adjust the server to change the NIC card speed from 10Mb to 100Mb or is this an auto-negotiated only setting?

My on-board card is capable of 100Mb. This 10 Mb speed is not because of any hardware issues or cabling.

I can't seem to locate a thread on this already so if there is one, could you let me know which thread it is?

Thanks!
