The system I'm planning on using for my NASLite server has no floppy drives. Can I either save the configuration to a USB flash drive or use the CD as a kicker to use the USB version?

Hi toricred,

Ok if you purchase the USB version of naslite the config is saved to the usb device, usually naslite usb is booted from the mb but if you MB dont support usb booting you have the option of using a CD kicker there are two on my website http://www.freenas.info insert your usb device and then boot either of the kicker CD's if you see that its detected the usb device you should be ok to buy naslite usb.

if you can mount a Floppy drive then the CD version will be fine.
