I recently upgraded from NASLite-SMB to NASLite2-CDD on the same machine, with the same hard discs. I am trying to copy a 9.7Gb file onto the NAS server but the file transfer keeps on dying on me. The write process reports a transfer rate of 5.1Mb/s until about 2Gb has written, whereupon the transfer dies. the KDE error handler (on my Mandrake Linux box) reports "The process for this file protocol died unexpectedly". The NAS Server and Mandrake machine are connected through a DLink 10/100 switch.

Can anyone suggest what my problem might be?

Andrew
