Hi all
I now use NasLite (free floppy version)
I am very happy with it and plan on upgrading to naslite2-usb
I plan on using a CF-card and CF to IDE adaptar to make it all work

I'm using an old P-III motherboard (Tyan Tiger 100)
This motherboard has 2 processors, not dual core: 2 physical processors
In the bios flash screen I see P-III 600x2
but in the status screen of naslite it only mentions P-III 600

My question:
Does naslite2 has an advantage with 2 processors or does it only use 1?
If only 1, I have another P-III mainboard (single 500 processor) I can use, so these mainboards can be swapped
I would like to know in advance, so I can unlock the software with the final hardware

Thanks
Tim

A single CPU of about 1GHz should be more than sufficient for a NASLite server.

But the question is, will the 2nd CPU be used ?

I also have a dual Celeron 466 board which I could use for this.
