Question one
Running Windows XP whit NTFS filesystem. I have 4 hard drive that i want im my future server.
But what i can read in this forum, the server dont support NTFS filsystem.
How can i extend the disk whit EXT2 and not losing the saved data on every hard drive?

Question two
Im bit insecure abouse the support for how many hard driver you can have running on the server.
I have one IDE, and 6 SATA hard driver. Support the server so many disk?
And will it be any communication trouble whit using IDE and SATA ?

Hi,

The server supports Ext2 and Ext3 so your best bet is to juggle around your data so you can install one disk in the server then transfer the data over, its going to be a bit of messing around but worth it.

take a look here, http://www.serverelements.com/phpBB2/vi ... 7699dd7c56

check out the server running there.

Also go here http://www.serverelements.com/documentation.php and grab yourself the manuals and Hardware ref manual and have a good read and see if your hardware is supported? any problems just ask and i am sure someone will guide you.
