Will it work, or will it work as a RAID card? It'll probably allow you to connect SATA drives to your system. It will almost certainly not allow you to configure them in RAID. I have a 4 port SATA PCI adapter visually similar to that in the photo - I have 4 drives happily connected to it and individually configured in NASLite-2 USB.

Looking at the Hardware Ref manual the chipsset for the card is supported.
