Well, I've downloaded the NASLite-2 USB iso file. Using Nero express I created a CD using 'burn image to disc'.

I insert and succesfully boot my PC using this CD. After some pages of data, I get

INITIALISING
Starting environment configuration
[DONE] File system configuration complete
[FAIL] Unable to mount CD-ROM

Am I selecting the wrong option in NERO; I can't find anything else that might be relevant? [If I try to use the USB Drive in the Naslite computer it stalls on " Auto-Detecting Pri Master"].

Very happy with the NASLite+ ddisk operation; no probs until now! Jeffjohn

Do you have multiple CD/DVD devices on that machine? If so boot from the primary one. Also, make sure that you are booting from an ATAPI device. Hope that helps...

Hi Tony!

I do have two Drives CD and DVD; I thought occurs - the Integral Flash drive is partitioned, for Password protection (not invoked). Does this contravene your instruction that 'no other USB devices are connected'?? Two are shown in My Computer? Jeff

Tony! many thanks. Booted from DVD Drive and used a simpler flash drive. All ran fine! Thanks again jeffjohn
