Tony,

I finally broke down and upgraded my perfectly functioning NL1.5 box to NL2 last night. I am quite impressed with the new features and the speed. NL2 seems a lot faster than NL1.5.

Anyways, I wanted to thank you and Ralph and everyone associated with this excellent product.

I will be looking forward to future versions and updates. :D

Best,

Steve

Thank you very much for the kind words Steve. Such posts are encouraging and do a great deal for morale around here. I really hope that future releases are as well received.

Yes, let me chime in also that YOUR software Tony has such a relief for me as well; given thanks to the developers is something alot of people tend to forget.

Before NASlite came along I had multiple Dell P3's wirelessly connected to my LAN with each one tied to a APC UPS. Each box consisted of (2) 40-250Gb drives, each machine varied due to my one time purchases of hard drives every so often.

I had scripts run each morning at 5am to reboot each machine.

At the office we never did any backups per say, we did have a SUSE distro storing our files on a VERY old Compaq 1600 server with (5) 40gb SCSI drives.

Once I updated the home network to NASlite 1 and then later to 1.5+, I was afloat w/ P3's; so I scarf'd one for the office and stuffed it w/ 500GB hard drives and that has been suffice for backing up our Small Business Server and Citrix server. You should see the faces I receive when I show them our backup server.. :P
