A MacBook just joined our workgroup of Win XP clients, none of which have any problem at all accessing the NASLite-2 shares. However, the MacBook under OS X sees the NASLite-2 in its server list, but will not mount it.
In attempting to Connect, it prompts for a username (which I delete, as it is the machine password) and I leave the password prompt blank. Then an error message tells me that the "alias NasLite-2" cannot be opened, because the original item cannot be found.
Yet the MacBook under OSX can readily access any other non-NASLite server or share.
Nevertheless, when I run WinXP (the MacBook dual boots WinXP from a Boot Camp partition), everything works fine, just as with the PC/Windows clients. Also, I cannot ping the NASLite-2 server from OS X, although I can HTTP to its IP address, read the HTM pages, etc.
