Sorry if this has been covered else where but does anyone know how to create an array larger than 2Tb using an Adaptec 21610sa SATA card.
I have 7 *500Gb drives that I would like to create an array with to give >2Tb but the controller keeps booting me back saying too many drives, exceeds 2Tb limit?.
I am sure Naslite can handle arrays bigger than 2Tb, is it a shortcoming of the Adaptec card/bios? and are there any workarounds.

Thanks Superboss , also found this but not sure if I can create a 'datatub' under linux and format the resulting volume , will it then mount in Naslite and be ready for use.
Guess the only thing is to give it a try, will post results .
