I've searched the docs and the forum and I can't seem to find (or have overlooked) the answer to this question: Once I have NASLite-2 CCD up and running with a few drives, can I (1) add new drives without losing data on the others? (2) add drives of different sizes? Basically, is the RAID a real RAID5 or one of the JBOD setups? And if it is a RAID5, can I add new drives and have it join the pool of the existing RAID?

There is no software RAID support in NASLite.

Any RAID will be in the interface card for the drives. If you are building a RAID array and want to use different size drives that you will generaly use JBOD. If it is RAID0 or RAID5 then you will be best off using the same size drives and model of drive. Same for RAID1.

Again you have to use a supported HARDWARE RAID card to get the RAID functionality in NASLite.
