Thought I'd give remote FTP a try tonight but failed miserably! I have set up my router to port forward 20 and 21 to my NL box but when I try to ftp to my IP (86.x.x.x) I get a message from ftp connect: Unkown error number

Any ideas as to set up remote ftp?

I can ftp 'locally' fine BTW.

I seem to remember something about inputing a gateway IP address in NL under networking. Might make sure that it is there.

Absolutely spot on! I didn't set a default gateway on install but adding one has sorted it, many thanks!
