this is the system log can somebody help with the errors at the end. I think it might ge the ethernet card but not sure.

I think you're right about the NIC, try moving it to a different PCI slot and see if that works. If not use a 3Com 3C905 or 3C940 card, they are bullet proof.

changed the nic to a d link and all the problems went away
