OK it's a new day. I don't know how to proceed. v1.5 (I went back) tells me my 3 drives are SMART enabled and being tested (and OK). v2.01 (same 3 drives) tells me that; (1) SMART is not enabled on the 3 drives, and (2) there are "errors" detected during boot. (see previous post). How is it that the SMART results could be so different, and opposite? Thanks ... I'm stuck. BTW, if the answer is v2.01 is indeed "SMARTer", and "turn on SMART in Drive Bios ... " - How?

NASLite-2 uses a much improved SMART monitoring utility. There are a number of things that could be causing this. Check in the BIOS and turn SMART on. If that fails, take a look at this utility: http://smartlinux.sourceforge.net/
