I'm using PATA drives ATM, but as i'm wanting to add some more drives to my Naslite 2 box was thinking about going SATA. I've seen a Sunsway 4 port SATA controller with a Silicon Image Sil3114 chip which is pretty cheap, and is software RAID. I don't intend going down the RAID route, but has anyone successfully tried a controller with this chip?
I've looked on the Linux compatability sites and there are conflicting reports.
