NASLite Network Attached Storage

Sorry Tony, but i need your help again

Is it possible that Naslite has a problem with connecting to a second NIC on the system.

I use a MB with a internal NIC.
The internal NIC is not recognized by Naslite so i disabled the internal one and installed a PCI version.
But i can not connect , no telnet, no ping, with Telnet i receive the message :
"Could not open connection to the host, on port 23: Connect Failed"
I have no firewall running on my test Windows XP PC.
With a older MB , wich has no internal NIC, the same NIC card and network configuration connects fine.
