I have a PCI Promise Rocket RAID 1640 card with 4x 200 GB SATA HDDs attached. They were configured in the RAID BIOS as RAID 5 array and worked as such in Windows XP.

I am now booting NASLite2+ USB and it sees the drives as individual disks. Does that mean that NASLite2+ can't use this raid adapter in raid mode?

Am I reading the doco correctly, that if NASLite2+ recognised the RAID then it should show the 4 physical drives as one single (logical) drive, and as I am seeing 4 drives they are operating in non-raid mode?

If so, then is there anything that can be done (drivers, or RAID BIOS configuration) that would help use the RAID feature?

Thanks,

ps: I know that NASLite is very frugal when it comes to memory needs, but if there IS lots of ram installed, will it get used or is it a total waste of time and I am better off pulling the extra ram and using it elsewhere? I currently have a 1 GB installed.
