Just installed a new 320gb SATA drive. NASLite v2 found it ok. I formatted it - ok. Set to RW - ok. Applied Journal - ok. Re-booted, and now can't get past the Verifying DMI Pool Data screen. Is this something to do with the new drive - testing? It's been like this for an hour.

First power down the computer and then turn it back on. If that fails, then try setting that IDE channel to NONE in the BIOS and see if things will boot properly.

Power off & re-booting didn't work. Now remember this baby came up and was recognized the first time. Here is what I stumbled on as a "fix"; MachSpeed P4M800 MoBo ... in Bios on the PnP / PCI Configurations page ... I changed Resources Control = Manual (from Auto), now all IRQ Resources show "Assigned to PCI Device". Save - Booted - All is well. I have no idea why. Nor do I understand why it worked the first time without a problem. It was only after it was formatted (I guess) that the "stuck on DMI pool" occured.
