I need to get a question answered before I purchase version 2.0. I want to use hardware raid 5 using a LSI MegaRAID which the hardware sections says it supports. I would be starting out with three 250GB drives. Can I add a fourth drive to the raid array without moving all my data? Then add a fifth drive etc?

What you're asking about is referred to as OCE or online capacity expansion - find the documentation for your particular card and see if it supports that feature - and then check back here and see if someone will post to let you know if NASLite allows it - I could be wrong, but I don't think it is supported.

as i understand it you have to expand using your card.... expand the partition using something like Knoppix. The Naslite will see it.
