Hello,

All was going well installing NASLite-2 CDD. However, it appears that when I change the admin pwd, save the configuration and reboot, I can't log in.

Everything on the screen appears normal (as docs say) but when I go to login with admin and new pwd i entered, it says invalid login.

At this point, I am leaving the default password which is not really good.

Any ideas? Thanks

DW

You are leaving the floppy in when boot a second time?

Yes.

After the reboot, the statuses looked like the docs said they should.
I went to my browser on another computer and got to the status screen. I was all excited.

Then I don't remember why, but needed to look at a setting or something and went to go back in with my new password and it wouldn't let me in.

Well. I will try a fresh new floppy and try it all again and see if that helps. Also, will try leaving my Workgroup name to be WORKGROUP instead of my own.

Configuration is checksum verified, so it's all or nothing. If all other settings were correct, then the password was also correct as entered in the config. Check for caps-lock, etc. The password is case sensitive...
