Hi,

I found this reference on the board : http://www.serverelements.com/phpBB2/vi ... php?p=4478

but it doesn't provide any indications as to the actual maximum filesize of licensed server elements products.

Since I'm using this beast as a archive/backup server with large images of compressed drives ....this information is important to me.

Any hints would be appreciated.

I don't think there is a practical limit (theoretical maybe) given say the 750Gb maximum current size of a single HDD or the 2TB partition limits some RAID controllers have.

I routinely backup 40Gb files to my NASlite box without problems.

What sizes are you talking about?

Thanks. This is the info I needed. I can place ghost images on this thing without any problems.
