I have 8 drives in my Nas Box.

4 x 200G IDE drives that I attached directly to the motherboard and 4 x 400G SATA drives that I setup as RAID 5 (1.1T) on an LSI MegaRAID card.

On my general status page:
Disk 0 - 3 will be the 200G drives
Disk 4 is the 1.1T array

I mapped all the drives to my desktop. Everything works flawlessly functional wise, but sometimes on the general page, the Disk-4 will be missing. It'll only shows I have 4 disks 9supposed to be 5 disks).

I ftped from my desktop and if I choose option 3, disk 4, the ftp window will stop responding.

Does anyone has the same issue with mine?

Note: When this happened, I do not have any problem accessing the array from my desktop.

I dont know how to attached screen shots to this, if somebody can let me know how to do it, It'll attached them. [/img]

I have 3 drives on my Naslite box, on odd occasions Disk-0 is there, but 1 & 2 have disappeared, i usually do a couple of refreshes and they reappear.
Oops didn't read your post properly
This is on the admin screen I can still access the drives.

The issue that TaNk posted is covered here: http://www.serverelements.com/phpBB2/vi ... php?t=1274 so I assume that willsy and Scoobs should be looking there. The problem that siaopao is posting appears to be in the admin menu and not the status screens. What I’m confused about is where does ftp come into the picture.

Can you please clarify and post a step by step of what you do before the problem occurs.
