I have been using NASLite 2 USB since v2.01. I upgraded to v2.06 and have had troubles since.
Hardware is a P4-3.0, 512M RAM, 4x250GB PATA, GBLAN
Symptoms:
NASLite boots up normally to the NASLite-2 Login prompt.
At that time, the NASLite box is accessable via the local console or network. Status can be read via the network by entering the IP in a browser.
Using Windows Explorer, the NASLite box is visable and the drives cab be browsed normally, including drilling down into the directory tree. So far, so good.
Now, I try to do something with a file... opening a 100 MB RAR file, for example. At this point, the NASLite box locks up with regard to network access. The status page is no longer accessable via browser. Windows Explorer says the network device is not accessable. The local console admin login still works, however.
From the local admin console, I can reboot, and then the NASLite box is accessable again. Is this known behavior? Cause? Fix? Should I downgrade to the older version?
Let me know what other information may be needed to diagnose, and thanks for any help.
