Ralph or Tony,

Please check your download link for NASLite-2 CDD. I just purchased the software and I've tried downloading it a total 5 times now with two different internet connections and 4 different web browsers. I want to use the software that I purchased, but the checksum is showing up as incorrect and Nero also sees an issue with the iso file. Please post when the file is corrected. Thanks.

You are the 3rd person to report that problem in the last month or so. Ralph and I are not sure what is causing the ISO to degrade during download since we are unable to replicate the problem on our end. We are continuing to look into it and hope to have possible causes narrowed down if not resolved in the next few days.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one! 8)

I just downloaded the copy you sent to my email address. The checksum is good and the cd burned properly. Thanks for sending it directly to me.

I am seeing some strange issues with FireFox over past couple of months, including downloads not completing as expected. If you are using FF, and have the option to do so, switch temporarily to IE or another browser for the download ... that has worked for me.

Tony,

I have the same problem (on another site) when I DL using GetRight. The DL is done in several pieces, all seem to end normally but the resulting file is corrupt. Using the "save file to..." option of FireFox works and I can DL without any problems. There is only one site that causes this DL problem for me.

I can't remember how I DLed my version of NL from your site (with or without GetRight) :(

Regards

That is why it is so difficult to pinpoint the cause. I'm pretty positive it's on the user end since we deliver quite a number of downloads daily without a problem. If the server-end of the download mechanism was flawed, I'm sure the frequency of corrupt files will be higher.

Both Ralph and I have downloaded the ISO files multiple times using different browsers on different operating systems, but things always look good at the end. I even tried it using wireless at Caribou Coffee down the street without a problem. So, I don't know. We are monitoring things on our end, but everything appears to be in order. I guess time will tell...

The last time I downloaded the software for a friends NAS box after he bought it was with my Verizon WWAN card and Mozilla browser, not a hitch.
