I had a few questions:

1) I was wondering if NASLite-2 supported this much hardware?
2) Will it use more than 4gb of memory?
3) What kind of performance can I expect?

Thanks

I don't mean for this to sound bad or anything but are you totally out of your "F"ing mind or are you just plain simple?????????? You want to put a $30.00 network file server software package on $5,000.00 worth of hardware?

Your performance will not be any better than most of us on this forum with 1/10th the hardware. The software is not even designed to run on multi core processors. That is so overkill it is hard to even laugh at it. If you do use that hardware for NASLite you need to add to your list of parts a pair of Nvidia 8800GTX Ultra cards in SLI for the terminal video. You should be able to get around 5000 FPS at 80x40 mono. :o

Get a cheap used machine from a computer store and add a hardware raid card to it. The single 1GB network interface is all that NL can handle so the rest of the hardware is a total waste.

Save your cash!

Mike
