NASLite Network Attached Storage

Hi

I've copied my mp3s to my NASLite box but iTunes won't add my files to the library. How do I get iTunes to see the shared folder?

Preferences/Advanced : Make sure the iTunes folder location points to your naslite box/mp3 folder

Select all your mp3's in the macintosh finder or windows and drag them to the iTunes main window. iTunes will add them to the library.

I think I should give some more info. I have an existing itunes library with associated playlists, ratings, playcounts etc where I've now moved the raw files to the server. What I need to do is tell itunes that the files aer now on the server not the local hard drive.

If I try the solution above, I think I will lose all my playcount data etc and just import duplicates.

lol problem just solved itself. I think my itunes music library file had got confused. What I did was map my music folder to a drive, and then restored my old music library file and it worked!!!
