i use wol to wake up my Naslite server - the server is located in a room out of the way

occasionally the machine refuses to boot and i have to go and power down and start again - no big deal but it would be nice to know whats happening

apart from accessing it via its ip address or opening a folder and being told by windows it is not accessible is there any way for the software to automatically open a window on the remote computer to tell me the Naslite server has powered up

There really is no way for NASLite to initiate any unsolicited actions on a client machine. I suppose it is possible to code something that would hit NASLite and report it's state, but that would have to be client-side.
